In November we are joined by two guests from the North East, Keith Armstrong and Trev Teasdel.

'No one in the North East has written and read and encouraged and organised so consistently and over so long a period as Keith Armstrong. His poetry is different, original, and politically exhilarating’ (Andy Croft). Keith is also coordinator of the Northern Voices creative writing and community publishing project, which specialises in recording the experiences of people in the North East of England. He has organised several community arts festivals in the region and many literary events over the years.

Trev Teasdel is a lively performance poet, songwriter, editor, poetry activist / organiser. One of the Godfathers of the creative writing movement in the Teesvalley and currently Co-director of the Writers Cafe in Stockton on Tees. He was co-founder of Outlet magazine / Write Around & Merlin's Cauldron festivals and a longstanding creative writing tutor for WEA and Leeds University.
