This is the place where Access Space participants (Spacers) create wikified web content.

I’m thinking of staring an access-space based film group Do you think that’s a good idea? What would you like from one? This is not a crappy tick-box form. The lists I’ve written are just suggestions. Please write as much as you like. What part would you like to take in collaborative film-making? If you have already done so, please say.

  • Acting
  • Editing
  • Directing
  • Camera
  • Sound Design / Musician
  • Make-up
  • Costume
  • Effects
  • Animation
  • Dancer / Martial Artist
  • Writer
  • Producer
  • Sculptor
  • Painter
  • Not sure yet… I’ll just let it flow

What sort of films would you like to take part in?

  • Video Installations
  • Scripted films
  • Improvisation
  • Documentary
  • Silent films
  • Web Animations
  • Mobile phone films
  • Feature films

What do you think should happen during a typical film group meeting?

  • Watching films made by the meeting’s participants
  • Watching other films
  • Discussion on film
  • Finding collaborators for film projects
  • Criticism of work in progress
  • Rehearsals
  • When could you get to a film group meeting? (evening, afternoon, weekend, etc)
  • I would like to learn about:
  • Camera technique
  • Acting
  • Editing
  • Animation
  • Uploading, web-streaming
  • Getting films onto mobile phones
  • Places to send films (festivals, websites etc…)

There may also be an on-line section to the film group. Should it include: -

  • A database of everyone’s talents
  • A discussion forum
  • A wiki, editable by everyone - that's allready here wether you want it or not!
  • Details an Film festivals, etc

And finally … what’s your name and email?
