Proposal for Access Space's Setup

A lot of of the problems with the Access Space computers stem from an attempt to have all the software running on all the computers, then finding that they infact, don't. This is a proposed setup for different kinds of computers with different software, and it's on the Wiki so you can all add to, comment and ammend it.

• Konqueror If we go with KDE's killer app, we've got network essentials FTP, SFTP, SSH, SCP, and terminal emmulation all covered. If we don't, we must install all these too.

• Blender
• Cinelerra
• FFMPEG
• Inkscape
• GIMP IMHO Gimp should be on ALL machines that have a monitor. It will run fine on < 500mHz.
• Pencil Pencil isn't normally available for Linux! Inkscape is and does the same stuff.

(should have sound and a reasonably large >10GB local hard disk partition for video edits)
