20x20 Exhibition at Access Space, April 2007

Welcome to the second "20x20" open submission exhibition at Access Space. As with last year's show, the only brief for participants was the requirement that each artwork must measure 20 inches by 20 inches.

This year saw even more submissions than last year. New features include our first objet trouvee presented as an artwork, and a very cheeky conceptual piece. We also had our first entry from a non-human artist - the Access Space Print Server, that spontaneously produced a square format artwork as we were discussing the exhibition.

We think the quality of the show is excellent, and the variety of concepts, styles and approaches of the artists is really interesting. For this year we've introduced a "which one is your favourite" vote - come into Access Space and give us some feedback - we'll publish the results here at the end of the show.
